Hanging Hills
Crafting songs that are heavily rooted in the past while maintaining a steady foothold in the present, Hanging Hills constantly bridges the gap between nostalgia and innocent wonder.
Formed in 2012, the band derives its name from an old folk tale surrounding a section of the Metacomet ridge in southern Connecticut. A finalist in the best new band category at the 2014 CT Music Awards, Hanging Hills is one of the many talented, up-and-coming bands making strides in the Connecticut music scene. Their debut album, The Great Divide, was released in June 2014.
In 2015, the band relocated to Philadelphia with the hopes of reaching new audiences and immersing themselves in the city’s vibrant music scene.
